"Cancel membership, straight to collections..."
I cancelled my member ship (month to month) after 7 years. Now I am getting letters from a collection agency and my credit is now affected/ I cancelled when I moved 5 months ago, but Crunch cant accept the breakup. Its over, move on Crunch. Collections wont help, I am gone.

"They ask for a bank account or credit…"
They ask for a bank account or credit card to join. The terms are: month to month. they require a 10 day notice for cancelation. HOWEVER, they will keep billing you until you cancel your card or close your bank account.
They will charge you what they want.
This happened to me.....it will happen to you

"If I could give them zero stars I…"
If I could give them zero stars I would. I joined when they had a cheaper deal in December and haven't been able to cancel and get them to stop charging me for four months. They rope you in saying they have this really cheap deal for a month and then don't let you cancel for another three months, and when you go into the store to cancel they tell you there has to be "one month notice" and still charge you for the upcoming month. The gym itself is fine but there are plenty of other gyms out there that would care for you a lot more than Crunch. Their business strategy is simple - take as much money from a person as you possibly can. I even had an instructor come up to me one time while I was working out bugging me about setting up a session with them and after denying it multiple times she told me "I'll just put you on the schedule, and if you can't make it it's okay I will text you the day of." Of course I said I couldn't make it when she texted, yet she still charged me and I had to protest the charge and confront her about it. I've never seen an organization so full of people with complete disregard for others. Save yourself the hassle of protesting credit card charges and emailing back and forth and work out somewhere else. Terrible experience with Crunch.

"Reesha Stoner is an awesome instructor…"
Reesha Stoner is an awesome instructor who teaches one of the best HIIT and Zumba classes at Crunch Fitness. I really love her teaching style and techniques. She is one of the reasons I joined Crunch and I’ve been a member for over a year.

"Check this before you join"
Wholesale management and staff change. Ineffective... Empty paper towels, empty jand sanitizer, multiple broken equipments for months, loud obscene rap music, too crowded, functional equipment availability a constant problem, the club depends on the nearby high school kids to join, lots of joshing pushing around daring each other, or sitting on equipments for a 3 min token workout while watching TikTok and while you wait.
Think 2x before you join.

"CROOKS FITNESS"
I have been using Crunch for a few years now. I have used them in Dallas and now in Tyler. One thing I use to love about this company is that they weren't taking additional fees from my card or bank account unexpectantly like other gyms. I have noticed in the past 6 months they have been overcharging me when I have had money on my card. Confronted them about it and they said they removed my info a couple of times and now in March I was charged 25.00 and on today 3/25/23 another charge for 10.81. Manager said I would get a refund for all those charges in 3 whole weeks. Like Wow 3 weeks. If they even keep their word. It's really sad that companies have to sink this low to be profitable. Just change card info. They are not trying to do this. So now I get what the C in Crunch stands for (CROOKS). CROOKS FITNESS

"Nice gym-Machines tied up with people playing with phones-Nobody monitoring"
Gym itself is fine-I'd say good. It's clean. Equipment is maintained and fixed when broken. But nobody monitors people on the machines and many of them sit and tie up a machine for 1/2 hour or more playing on their phone while doing one rep of 10. They look at you like your a freak if you ask how many more reps they have. It can make the workout take twice as long and leads to overcrowding in the gym.

"TERRIBLE"
TERRIBLE! I signed up for the peak membership. In the agreement it says I should only be getting charge 26.77 a month. I am getting charge 26.81 a month along with $80 here $75 there. I’m getting charged an “annual fee” EVERY month of $10.79. I’ve tried to contact the manager and they are coincidentally “never there”. They never take payments on the same date of every month so I never know how much money I actually have in my account. When you sign up, they want your account and routing number. And the only way to cancel your membership is to go to your bank and close your account.

"It's very difficult to get fraudulent…"
It's very difficult to get fraudulent charges on your credit card or bank account from a company that doesn't have that information.

If you don't join crunch fitness they can't screw you.

"Crunch cancelation issue"
Crunch cancelation issue
This was for my in laws..

Hi there. This is by far the worst gym experience I've had. I'm trying to cancel a gym membership I had created for my mom as she was vacationing with us for a couple weeks. The gym recommended that i take the monthly membership as i can cancel anytime. Those were the exact words of the guy that helped us. Now She has left for her country Tonight and I'm unable to cancel the membership even though I'm the one paying for it. Now they're telling me what should've been said/explained in the first place, that my mom has to be present in order to cancel the membership. So now I guess I'm going to be paying for this membership for the rest of my life by their logic. Because how is she supposed to walk in to cancel if she doesn't live in this country. This was neither mentioned nor explained to us upon signing up. They simply said you can cancel at anytime after I explained the reason I had for taking the membership.this is frustrating.

"Crunch Fitness is a scam"
Crunch Fitness is a scam. They will bill you $54.00 for an annual fee regardless of the time of sign up. It could be within one month or two months. So essentially you are paying two annual fees in a one year time span. They also hit your account monthly whenever they want, as opposed to a set date. This can make trying to balance your account a nightmare. Avoid at all cost signing up with them.

"Crunch location 59th and 2 avenue"
This location is a black brother only if you get harass from back members the black manager take their side and if you are a Jew worse the manager is a antisemitic, trainer the are the last. On the line not really professional they keep quite to don't loose the commission. After changing to equinox. I realize that crunch is a $#*!hole and is not much cheaper either since the place is a shut hole and the equipment as per. The services are old and dirty. Be aware of the location and check equinox or other gym before you get hook from the manager and the Brazilian George santos in charge for the trainers. This location is black life matter only. "Nice nice clean gym with lots of…"
Nice nice clean gym with lots of treadmills and bikes. BUT, they need more of the body building machines or some sort of help on the floor. I waste more time waiting for the leg press and sit up machines than I do using the treadmill. The clients tend to be younger and have no problem sitting on a machine to look at their phone for ridiculous amounts of time. I can see taking a break but that is not what they are doing. Today I stood behind the leg press for more than ten minutes and watched a girl play on her phone and look around. She literally did no more than five presses. I am not talking reps. This happens all the time. I don't have enough time to spend at the gym to get my work out done.
